Sleepy Eyes of Death- Sword of Adventure During a stroll through the crowds of Edo, a female pickpocket attempts to relieve Kyoshiro of his purse, only to be relieved of her clothes by a furry of flashing steel. At a tea-house, he befriends an old man, who turns out to be the Finance Commisioner for the Shogunate and who has the uneviable task of solving the Shogunate's financial problems without crushing the peasants under the daughter, who cares only for her own pleasures and when he is forced to eliminate her allowance, he is marked for death. Kyoshiro, the half breed son of a Japanese noble woman and the Christian missionary who raped her, decides to protect his new friend. Things get complicated when he discovers that the mastermind of the assassination plot is only doing it to secure the release of her husband, a foreign missionary from prison. After several failed attempts the assassins decide that Kyoshiro has to be dealt with. But the master of the dreaded "Full Moon Cut", a hypnotic sword stoke that lures the opponents into a deadly web of steel, is not an easy target. Sadly for the assasains, when Nemuri's blade begins its slow rotation, his sleepy eyes, and the flash of his blade, are the last things they ever see!
