Budoshoshinshu
The Warrior's Primer of Daidoji Yuzan. Written in the 1720's this book might be considered the more mainline in thought as opposed to the Hagakure. It was certainly the most widely read by the warrior class during the last great period of warrior rule in Japan. Budoshoshinshu gives the samurai guidance in almost every aspect of his life as a warrior. It is a valuable addition to any library on feudal era Japan and the Samurai legacy. Softcover, 128 pages. |
