The hamon (temper line) on this forged steel tanto blade is prominent in the polish. There are two narrow grooves carved in the back of the blade. A matching kozuka (knife) is also featured on the tanto. A rain motif is etched in the habaki which ties together this subtle yet powerful tanto.
